This is "pseudo" time travel, assuming that the multiverse theory is correct. In this method, the past, present, and future are considered to be separate worlds that proceed in parallel. Therefore, the grandfather paradox will not occur. If we can find the past or the future that we know among the many universes, and travel there, we can complete our pseudo time travel.
If Hawking's last paper is correct, the finite number of multiverses will make it easier to find worlds that resemble history as we know it. All that remains is to wait for science to discover a way to travel to another universe.
